Sea Logistics Customer Care Manager - Kuehne+Nagel [Qatar]


 
We are looking for the new leader of our Sea Logistics Team in Doha, Qatar.

Your Role

In this unique opportunity, you will focus on customer satisfaction and growth in this market full of potential. You will lead a team of 3 people, including Customer Care and Sales, while providing a high level of freight forwarding, system and market knowledge.

Your Responsibilities

  • As the leader of your team, act as a role model, ensure they are equipped for success and promote their development
  • Ensure a best-in-class onboarding for our new customers
  • Act as first management contact, as well as first escalation point for our customers
  • Regularly evaluate and improve processes internally, and together with our customers
  • Promote our solutions throughout our customer portfolio, and foster increased usage
  • Monitor, drive and support where needed all local sales activities
  • Closely cooperate with the Sea Logistics Operations team to ensure excellent services for our customers
  • Ensures delivery against all financial targets and strategic objectives of Sea Logistics in Qatar #LI-KP'

Your Skills and Experiences

  • A relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field
  • Operational experience in sea freight, gained in a freight forwarding or a shipping company
  • Experience in leading people
  • Sales or business development experience is an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic language is a plus
  • Growth mindset with a strong customer-focus
