Keen to further empower our team by onboarding more talent, we are looking for a Laboratory Analyst to join our Team. As the Laboratory Analyst, you must complete the standard plan execution and you will report to the Laboratory Specialist.
The role is based in Komotini, Greece, at the Sunlight Recycling Plant
Key activities and responsibilities of this role include
- Performing analyses based on a daily control plan.
- Operating instrumental analysis to determine chemical parameters.
- Handling spectrometers, instruments, and other equipment on determination of physicochemical properties.
- Implementation of methodology-based sampling.
- Execution of analytical chemistry methods.
- Reporting and updating the register of chemical analysis results.
- Preparation and compounding of basic laboratory solutions.
- Maintenance and calibration of essential laboratory equipment.
Job requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (in the field of Oil & Gas technology, Mineral Resources, Chemistry, or other relevant field) or
- Vocational High School Diploma (direction: paramedical professions) or
- High School Diploma (STEM direction & experience in a laboratory environment)
- Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques
- MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint): Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Any experience in similar or relevant position is a plus.
- English level A2 – B1
- Able to work in shifts.
