Description
As the IT Projects Team Lead with Global Payments, you will work very closely with a team of IT Infrastructure Leaders, leading a team of Scrum Masters and IT Project Managers to deliver projects that align with the Strategic Objectives for the BTS Infrastructure and Operations Department.
Your mission is to be the delivery partner for a team that maintains the infrastructure that allows for billions of payments transactions each year. This is the core of our business and we have an ambitious roadmap we need you to support delivering. You’ll be the bridge that connects the infrastructure team with product and business teams to deliver projects to maintain our services stability, that continues to enable best in class, scalable payments infrastructure. You’ll be responsible for facilitating strategy and project success and continuously improving processes in the organization.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Facilitate and maintain the creation of Roadmaps for the BTS Infrastructure & Operations teams
Manage a team of delivery partners (Scrum Masters and IT Project Managers) who work with the various teams delivering projects in the Roadmap
Document and manage Templates for Project Management and Strategy planning
Responsible for gathering and publishing relevant strategic metrics
Be the IT Governance partner for the leadership team, facilitating problem solving and propose solutions for process improvement
Transparency is key in our way of working, you’ll work on simplifying reporting to increase transparency in our department and keeping up to date team forecasts
You’ll support communications with our executive stakeholders and ensure that all our stakeholders and teams get the relevant information required
You’ll manage the roadmap of I&O projects and programs and highlight risks or blockers
You’ll also support department project finance management (ie CAPEX/OPEX), you’ll work on a monthly basis ensuring that the financial details of our department are tracked correctly
We work in a fast-moving agile set-up, so expect to pitch in with other responsibilities from time to time also

A proven ability to support the delivery of projects in a fast-paced environment
Strong experience in agile development and project delivery practices
Experience of the technology, tools and techniques that support agile development (e.g. planning workshops, project management tools (Jira, Confluence, Monday.com, etc.), reporting on programme progress)
Qualification in project management is a must (Prince2, CAPM, PMP, SAFe, Scrum Master, etc)

QUALIFICATIONS
5+ Experience in IT Project Management, People Leadership and Problem Solving
Practice of Problem Solving, Program & Project Management, Lean, Agile methodologies (Resourcing, Scrum, Scaling principles, SixSigma, Kanban, Lean, SAFe, PMP or Prince2, etc.)
Proficient presentation skills including proficient slideshows presentation skills (PowerPoint/Google Slides)
Data analysis knowledge (Excel, Google Data Studio, Google Suite…) and experience on reporting and metrics gathering and analysis
As a technologist you will be fully conversant with all aspects of software and infrastructure project work
Knowledge of payments industry and ecommerce is a plus
