Airport Staff, a renowned recruitment agency specialising in aviation and airport personnel, is currently seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Operations Officer for our client, a leading provider of ground handling services to private flights. If you have previous Ramp Agent experience coupled with exceptional customer service, administration, and time management skills, this is an excellent opportunity for you.

Position: Operations Officer
Location: Dublin International Airport
Working Days: Six days on, three days off basis
Shift Time: Early shift starts at 7 am, late shift starts at 2 pm (flexibility will be required)
Salary: €35,000

Job Responsibilities:

As an Operations Officer, you will work as part of a versatile team dedicated to delivering exceptional service to business and private aviation aircraft. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Reporting to and providing support for the General Manager.
  • Meeting passengers upon arrival and facilitating Customs/Immigration formalities.
  • Assisting crew members with entry requirements.
  • Coordinating services such as catering, toilet service, refuelling, transportation, and hotel accommodations.
  • Assisting with baggage handling.
  • Obtaining weather briefings for departing aircrew.
  • Managing arrival and departure paperwork for aircraft.
  • Providing comprehensive ground handling services for aircraft.
  • Operating UHF and VHF radios.
  • Coordinating airway slots between aircrew and the Slot Coordination department.
  • Issuing temporary passes in accordance with company instructions.
  • Escorting and supervising airside visiting vehicles and drivers.
  • Cleaning company vehicles/equipment and contributing to office cleanliness.
  • Performing general paperwork and recordkeeping duties.
  • Utilising ramp equipment, such as aircraft steps, ground power unit, and belt loader (after suitable training).
  • Carrying out any other tasks reasonably requested by the company or clients to ensure smooth operations.
  • Prioritising health and safety protocols and adhering to company policies.
  • Ensuring availability for contact outside of normal working hours via telephone, mobile phone, or blackberry.
  • Representing Universal Aviation Dublin and acting as an ambassador for the company.
  • Providing lavatory and water servicing for aircraft upon request.
  • Reporting directly to the General Manager of Universal Aviation Dublin.
