Supply Chain Assistant [United States]


 

Due to growth, Kachava is seeking a part time Supply Chain Assistant to join our team15- 20 hours per week. Seeking strong attention to detail and excel looking to grow with us.

Reporting to the Supply Chain Supervisor, you will provide essential support to the daily management and operation of the supply chain for Kachava.

· Data entry and management, monitoring and ensuring consistency and maintaining accuracy of all supply chain databases.

· Uploading and organizing documentation in shared drive (POs SOs BOLs, quotes)

· Inventory tracking – monitoring and updating inventory levels daily throughout various locations and inventory reconciliation.

· Invoicing and Payments: checking suppliers’ invoices for accuracy, submitting invoices for payment into the accounting department, maintaining supplier specific payment terms, updating records.

· Shipments – requesting and analyzing freight quotes, scheduling an monitoring shipments, generating and submitting all required documentation for shipments, reconcile discrepancies units and shipped vs units received

· Troubleshooting – Identifying root causes of issues and determining possible solutions.

· Preparing Data for Reimbursement requests

· Ad hoc tasks

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

1-2 years’ experience in supply chain field

Excellent computer skills: Excel and access software

Bookkeeping experience a plus

Excel Vlookup Pivot tables a plus

Ability to meet deadlines and availability to work in various time zones

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $23.00 per hour

Experience:

  • Strong Microsoft Excel: 2 years (Required)
  • Supply chain: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Administrative Office: 2 years (Required)
  • Vlookup , Pivot Tables: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Access Software: 1 year (Preferred)
