We are seeking an energetic, motivated team player to join our Sales team as an Inbound Sales Development Rep. SDRs are responsible for calling and qualifying leads. Ideal candidates should be self-starters with proven track records of success in their professional and personal or collegiate.
What you'll be doing:
Promptly follow up on leads who’ve expressed interest in Zendesk (trial, demo, contact form leads)
Complete qualification calls to identify prospect needs
Create opportunities in Salesforce and schedule quality meetings with Account Executives
Focus on building a great team environment for a fun and energetic atmosphere
Achieve and exceed weekly/monthly metrics and quota (calls, meetings, opportunities, etc)
Active listener with the ability to gather customer requirements and connect them to the Zendesk solution
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
Will require working with clients/prospects based in the US
Willingness and desire to work in a fast-paced and high growth environment with lots of change
Passion for sales and technology and eagerness to learn
Goal-oriented team player

Bachelor’s degree
Transferable sales, customer facing, or internship experience
Demonstrated success in meeting monthly targets
In this role, you’ll work primarily remotely with the support of a dynamic and caring team. We’ll provide you with the digital tools and experiences to be together–even when we’re apart. Being digital first doesn’t mean we’re digital only. You’ll also have the flexibility to join us at a Zendesk workspace, in one of our Zendesk offices or our flex office spaces. We will bring our people together on occasion to connect, collaborate, learn, or celebrate in person.
