Our client within the European Institutions is currently looking for a System Integration and Workflow Specialist to work on analysing and suggesting improvements of the current architecture.

Tasks:

Analyse and suggest improvements of the current architecture;
-
Analyse, suggest and test improvements for the current templates and index format;
-
Analyse, suggest and test improvements for the API’s queries with the aim to improve response time and response quality;

Advice, prototype and test solutions, based on best practices to implement the following functionalities (non-exhaustive):
-
Dynamic filtering, grouping, and sorting search results
-
Case-sensitive search options
-
Partial matching: get results with the searched words in any order or parts of it
-
Search with Boolean operators
-
Search with regular expressions
-
Document the proposed improvements, solutions and tests and share knowledge with the team in place;
-
Actively participate to multi-lingual technical and project team meetings;

Interact with the business analysts, customers, users, project leaders and the developers;
Requirements:

B2 level of English minimum. Any level of French is an asset.

Minimum 12 years' experience in IT;

Minimum 5 full years' experience with Elastic Search leading to a successfully implemented solution.

Proven experience in the design and implementation of enterprise level Elastic Search solutions

Proven hands-on experience to work with multi-user SQL-based database systems (SQL design, query design and optimization, …);
-
Proven experience in working in a UNIX environment and in script development (e.g. bash, Perl, …);
