TransferGo is a fast-growing fintech start-up that offers online money transfers to over 160 countries with high speeds, low fees and no hassle. We're striving to make the world a fairer place for migrants by providing tailored, more affordable financial services that makes their hard-earned money go further. Over 320 employees in offices across Europe are building a brilliant, relevant product supported by outstanding customer service.

We've come this far by building a talented, diverse workforce on a fair culture of trust, empowerment, and fun. And because our people understand the challenges our customers face, they're better placed to make life easier for our customers around the world — 5 million of them, and counting.

As a Lead Card Product Manager reporting to our one of the Directors of Product, you will be responsible for evolving and improving one of our key growth and future areas in TransferGo - a card product which will take TransferGo to the new heights. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive product discovery and product execution to meet our customer's needs and business strategy. This is a true "linchpin" role which will require a hands-on approach to lead the entire company through the most important journey any product goes through - finding product/market fit. Our new Cards PM will look after our customers' wallets and cards and ensure communication and collaboration with the whole organisation when releasing this new product.

Given that you will need to interact with a broad range of stakeholders and departments to ensure your product's success, and that you will need to translate the input and data you gather to build a case for the decisions you present in your roadmap, having the right mindset and approach is critical. The ideal candidate will thrive at:

  • Being systematic about iteration and idea validation to drive efforts behind the product/market fit;
  • Being fully transparent about your prioritisation and roadmap process and being able to say "no" as needed, but explaining why in terms that stakeholders understand;
  • Being a ruthless prioritiser while balancing the needs of customers and stakeholders;
  • Being able to lead mostly through influence and process;
  • Bringing evidence-based decision-making to your communications;
  • Building a culture of accountability by leadership and example;
  • Being a true customer - lover with a possibility to challenge ideas, test, look into innovation from the users perspective.

Here's what you'll be doing:

  • Building product roadmaps, strategy and vision

You'll be responsible for building a product roadmap while making use of data from secondary/primary research and requirement gathering, product analytics, competitor comparison, and other relevant business information. Additionally, we expect you to identify risks, challenges, opportunities and business integration needs and translate those into actionable deliverables. You will be owning a discovery track with multiple discovery items in parallel that touches and overlaps with other product areas.

  • Partnering with different level stakeholders

You'll be working closely with C level executives, directors, engineering managers, other product managers and vendor's delivery teams who will help to drive achieving key targets. You will spend your day-to-day working with software engineers who'll help facilitate product development, drive and ensure alignment across multiple teams. You will be providing timely and precise reporting related to the Pricing Team's area of needs.

  • Leading with ambition

You'll be leading the team towards the success of the project while setting up target KPIs and pursuing OKRs. Together with your engineering manager you will be in charge of product deliveries and solutions that highly skilled developers will help you to achieve. When it comes to leading people… You might have a possibility to manage and coach our more junior product managers as well.

  • Ensuring clear communication & transparency

You'll need to communicate effectively (speaking and writing in English) to ensure that plans, progress, and delivery are clearly understood across the organisation. We expect you to be self-organised and provide timely updates as well as feedback for your team members, peers and manager.

Here's what we'd love from our new Lead Product Manager:
