Are you an experienced Data Quality Analyst with a meticulous eye for detail? As a Data Quality Analyst at OEA, your role is critical in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of geospatial image data collected through 360-degree cameras at diverse locations across the nation.
Job Summary
Collaborating closely with our field team, you will spearhead data quality initiatives. Your responsibility will extend from developing standards and guidelines to conducting thorough data quality assessments. You'll leverage your proficiency in data analysis techniques to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies, ensuring the integrity of the data that underpins our projects. As a collaborative team player, your contribution will be pivotal in driving our mission to provide cutting-edge geospatial services.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the field team to establish data collection processes and requirements using 360-degree cameras.
- Develop data quality standards and guidelines, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of collected geospatial data.
- Conduct comprehensive data quality assessments, promptly resolving inconsistencies and anomalies.
- Collaborate with the team to implement data cleansing processes and rectify inaccuracies.
- Utilize data validation techniques to verify the accuracy and completeness of collected geospatial data.
- Monitor data quality metrics, generate reports for stakeholders, and provide valuable insights.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and provide data quality insights for decision-making.
- Train and guide the field team on data collection best practices to enhance data quality at the source.
- Assist in the development and implementation of data governance policies and procedures.
- Stay updated on data quality trends and industry standards for continuous process enhancement.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience as a Data Quality Analyst or similar role.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.
- Experience working with Imagery is an asset.
- Excellent attention to detail and data validation expertise.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
- Familiarity with geospatial data collection processes and 360-degree cameras.
- Willingness to travel nationwide.
- Valid driver's license.
- Legally eligible to work as a Data Quality Analyst in [country or region].
Desirable Experience
- Knowledge of geospatial data analysis and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
- Prior experience in data quality management and validation.
- Familiarity with 360-degree camera technology.
- Understanding of data governance and compliance.
