Mid-Market & Enterprise Business Development Executive (Cork)
Elio Networks seeks a Business Development Executive (BDE) to join our sales team. Our BDE’s research prospective customers, create outreach strategies, and identify sales opportunities. As a BDE, you will conduct exploratory conversations with potential customers specifically targeting C-Suite decision makers in mid-market & enterprise companies.
You will use your business acumen to identify how we can help improve the targeted companies’ connectivity needs by successfully positioning the Elio Networks value proposition.
You will be a friendly and strategic people person, an expert at relationship building, managing sales, a strong understanding of the direct outbound channel, meeting KPIs, and dedicated to pushing for the best results. You will have experience working within the telecommunications or IT sector with a proven track record of achieving results.
In This Role, You Will
- Work closely and collaboratively with the Commercial Sales Director to develop and implement appropriate prospecting strategies.
- Conduct strategic prospecting activities with an omni-channel approach (phone, email, social media, networking events & face to face meetings.
- Run outbound campaigns (phone calls, emails, etc.) to create sales opportunities.
- Preparing and delivering pitches and presentations to potential new clients
- Attracting new clients by innovating and overseeing the outbound sales process for the business
- Communicating with clients to understand their needs and offer solutions to their problems.
- Help mid-market & enterprise sized companies realize the potential of utilising a world class network
- Creating positive, long-lasting relationships with potential clients
- Developing and presenting proposals customized for each clients specific business needs
- Maintain client activities in CRM
- Ensuring excellent customer service through regular client follow up
- Developing rapport with key decision makers
- Translating proposals into ready-to-sign contracts
- Owning the sales lifecycle from prospecting to implementation
- Managing virtual and in-person sales meetings
We’re Looking For People Who Have
- At least 5 years of experience in business, sales, marketing, or a related field
- A track record of high achievement in winning direct business through an outbound omni-channel approach
- Experience of engaging C-suite executives, key decision makers or influencers
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- The ability to deal with and thrive on objections and rejection daily.
- Familiarity with CRM software, outreach tools, social media channels and Microsoft Office suite
- Confident in delivering PowerPoint presentations to prospective buyers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment with peers who challenge you to be better
- The desire to meet and exceed measurable performance goals
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Are an industry networker
- A keenly developed competitive nature with a highly self-driven sense of motivation

Salary:
- €40,000 - €60,000 per year
