HR Generalist - 4 Days a Week [Ireland]


 

Stepping Stones Care Ltd, was established in 2008. Our primary purpose was, initially to provide mainstream residential care services to young people who, for various reasons cannot live at home. Our purpose has evolved over time, and we now offer a broad spectrum of services to include mainstream residential care and specialised care services for young people and adults with disabilities. We are proud to offer residential care, community care, respite care, aftercare and semi-independent services.

Due to our continuing growth, Stepping Stones Care is now recruiting a HR Manager, this position in based in our Head Office in Howth, North Co, Dublin.

Ideal candidate must have at least 1 experience working in a Healthcare environment

This is a part-time role, 4 mornings a week 9.00am to 14.00pm.

Role & Responsibilities

1. Responsibility for the full employee cycle from recruitment to exit interviews.

2. Manage the HR function and be the main point of contact between for staff and senior
management.

3. Provide guidance and support to management on matters relating to recruitment,
performance management, disciplinarys , grievances, development plans,
organisational change.

4. Take a positive approach to employee relations issues to maintain a positive climate
within the company

5. Provide support and coaching to managers in terms of employment legislation and
dispute resolution.

6. Ensure that the company is compliant with all personal files for HIQA inspections.

7. Liaise with payroll as required on any pay related queries.

8. Ensure all HR policies and procedures are adhered to and up to date.

6. General Administration, responding to calls and dealing with issues on a day to day
basis.

7. Reviewing rosters and ensure they are received from each Designated Centre on a
weekly basis.

Person Specification

1. Degree in Human Resource Management or related qualification. Minimum 3 years
Human Resource experience, ideally 1 year in Healthcare.

2. Excellent communication skills.

3. Strong team player, working as part of a small team based in Howth.

4. Excellent organisational skills.

5. Strong decision & problem solving skills and the ability to remain calm and objective at
all times.

6. Strong phone, email and knowledge of Microsoft, Word, Excel.

Salary: €18.00-€22.00 per hour
